TYPES OF CONSULTATION

Choose the right support for you

Individual consultation

An individual space for listening, assessment and psychological support, tailored to each person's needs, history and life stage.

Duration: 60 min

Couple consultation

Support directed at couples seeking to understand difficulties in the relationship, improve communication, work through conflicts and find healthier ways of relating.

Duration: 90 min

Parental guidance

A support space for mothers, fathers and caregivers to understand difficulties in the relationship with their children, establish boundaries, improve communication and find educational strategies better suited to the family's needs.

The guidance seeks to help the family understand not only the child's or young person's behaviour, but also what may be behind that behaviour.

Group psychological support

Groups provide a space for sharing, reflection and personal development, where different people can work on difficulties, experiences or common goals with psychological support.

Groups can be developed for adolescents, young people, adults, parents and families, with themes and objectives adapted to the participants' needs.

Online consultation

Wherever you are, distance doesn't have to prevent support. The online consultation allows you to have psychological support from a private and comfortable space, with listening, closeness and confidentiality.

Individual: 60 min | Couple: 90 min

In-person consultation

A reserved space in Luxembourg, designed so you can pause, talk and understand what you are going through, at your own pace and without judgement.

Individual: 60 min | Couple: 90 min
SPEAK YOUR LANGUAGE

In Portuguese or Creole

There are emotions that are easier to express in the language we learned to feel in. Consultations can be conducted in Portuguese or Cape Verdean Creole, allowing you to express yourself more naturally and feel understood in your cultural reality as well.

Portuguese • Creole

Choose the language you feel most comfortable with.

What if I don't know where to start?

You don't need to prepare a speech or know how to explain everything in the first session. We start by talking and understanding what brought you here, what you are feeling and what you need most at this moment. From this first assessment, we define priorities and support goals together.

What you share in consultation is treated with confidentiality, respect and in accordance with the ethical principles of Psychology.

AREAS OF INTERVENTION

What we can work on together

Mental health and emotional balance

Anxiety, stress, sadness, emotional overload, self-esteem, emotion management and moments when you feel something in your life is no longer right.

Relationships, couples and family

Conflicts, communication, separation, emotional dependence, parenting, boundaries and relationship rebuilding.

Violence, victimisation and reconstruction

Psychological support in situations of violence, abuse, abusive relationships and other experiences of victimisation, respecting each person's pace, dignity and safety.

Adolescents, young people and future

Identity, self-esteem, bullying, school difficulties, family relationships, emotions, choices, motivation and building a life project.

Migration, identity and belonging

Living between cultures also affects us. Adaptation, loneliness, belonging, identity, family, language and emotional challenges associated with the migration experience.

Mental health and professional life

Stress, burnout, professional pressure, conflicts, workplace bullying and balance between work, family and personal life.

Grief, changes and new beginnings

Losses, separations, motherhood, migration, family or professional changes and other moments when it is necessary to reorganise life.

Self-knowledge, roots and identity

Understanding your own history, recognising patterns, beliefs, values and personal strengths, realising what we want to preserve and what we need to transform.

Prevention and mental health care

You don't need to wait until you reach your limit to seek support. Psychology also helps to recognise signs, understand what is happening, prevent the worsening of suffering and learn to take care of mental health.

You don't need to be at your limit to seek help

Often we learn to keep going, to work, to take care of family and to solve other people's problems, even when emotionally we are not well. Seeking psychological support can be the first step towards understanding what you are going through, taking care of yourself and giving priority back to your mental health and your life.
